Ms. Danzi is a qualified Italian lawyer (avvocato). She graduated in Law in 2002 summa cum laude and in 2008 she obtained a Master’s degree (LL.M.) with distinction in European Energy Law & Policy from the CEPMLP (Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy), University of Dundee, Scotland.
She has been providing extrajudicial and judicial assistance to leading players in the energy sector for over fifteen years.
She has accompanied numerous gas and power operators (both traders and downstream sales companies) in their entry and consolidation in the Italian market, assuring their compliance, inter alia, with REMIT, EMIR, MiFID II and MAR related obligations; she has advised the OPEC (the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries), and structured the import and sale of natural gas for the Italian subsidiary of the Algerian state oil company.
She has advised Italian and foreign companies as regards nuclear energy, including its applications in the medical field, both as regards civil liability matters and M&A transactions.
She has been assisting both innovative start-ups and key market players in the setting up and operation of hydrogen and renewable energy production plants, thereby providing legal support both in the acquisition phase of greenfield PV projects and in the development stages of these latter.
She has been rendering consultancy services to traders and industrial operators in structuring, drafting and negotiating PPAs: on-site/ off-site agreements and VPPAs, and in the context of legal disputes arising out of those agreements.
She is a member of AIEN (Association of International Energy Negotiators), INLA (International Nuclear Law Association) and she is part of the editorial board of the International Journal of Nuclear Law.
She speaks and writes fluently in English and French.
